Sunbury Dental Group participates in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), an Australian Government program that may provide eligible children with up to $1,132 in dental benefits over two consecutive calendar years.

Your child may be eligible if they:

Are aged 0–17 years for at least one day of the calendar year

Are eligible for Medicare

Are part of a family receiving an eligible government payment such as Family Tax Benefit Part A, Parenting Payment, or similar Centrelink payments

Eligibility is assessed by Services Australia, not by our practice. We encourage families to check their child’s CDBS balance via myGov or by calling Medicare on 132 011 before their appointment.

CDBS entitlements cover a defined range of general dental services. Individual out-of-pocket costs, if any, will depend on your child’s eligibility, benefit balance, and the specific services provided. Our team will provide a clear fee estimate prior to treatment.
